Latest: Most Popular Distribution of Relief Food Kits to Families

The 8th Food Relief Camp, supported by Shanti Med Nepal, was organized on the 4th of August in Raksirang Rural Municipality, Ward No. 09, Makawanpur district, under the Bagmati province of Nepal.
The journey to the distribution center took 3.30 hours from the NLFS office. Heavy rainfall has wiped away the roads that leads to the village and therefore the distribution center was in a place up to which the distribution materials could be taken to.
One hundred and fifty families benefited from this program. Each family received one bag of rice containing 20 kilograms and 2 kilograms of Dal. This ward requires special attention as there are cases of malnutrition and severe food shortage. This distribution was organized as per the request of Ward President, Mr. Ramkumar Balwa Thing. The Ward President, Ward Representatives, and toll heads were present for the distribution.
