Annual General Body Meeting of Nepal Little Flower Society
The Annual General Body Meeting of the Nepal Little Flower Society was held on September 15, 2024, at Little Flower School, Narayangarh. The meeting was presided over by the President of the Society, Fr. Krishna Bahadur Bogati. A total of 18 members attended the meeting.
The meeting commenced at 6:00 PM with an opening address by Fr. Krishna Bahadur Bogati, who welcomed all the attendees and highlighted the importance of the meeting in reviewing the progress and setting future directions for the Society.
Agenda Highlights:
Reading of Previous Year's Report: Mr. Govinda Paudel, Secretary of the Nepal Little Flower Society, read the report of the previous year, detailing the activities, programs, and achievements of the Society. The report also covered key areas of social work, education, and community outreach. After thorough discussions and suggestions from the members, the report was unanimously approved by the General Body.
Presentation of Income and Expenditure Report: Mr. Shivakanta Mainali, Treasurer of the Society, presented the Income and Expenditure report for the financial year. He provided a detailed breakdown of the Society’s financial position, including sources of income, funds allocated for various programs, and expenditures incurred. The financial report was discussed, and clarifications were provided where necessary. After review and discussions, the members approved the financial report.
Future Plans and Discussions: Following the approval of reports, the members discussed the upcoming projects and initiatives of the Society. Fr. Krishna Bahadur Bogati emphasized the need for continued efforts in education and social work, particularly in reaching out to the marginalized communities in Nepal. Several suggestions were made to enhance the effectiveness of ongoing projects, and strategies for improving the Society’s outreach were discussed.
The meeting concluded at 7:30 PM with a vote of thanks by the President. He expressed gratitude to all the members for their active participation and contribution to the success of the Society.
